Forging The Future

The simplest form of my goals is that I aim to rethink the methods cities maintain themselves, building a world where individuals lead affordable, comfortable, and prosperous lives.

Why Longman for Provo Mayor?

My interests are in the services Provo provides local residents.

From freezing your property tax, to lowering energy costs, I aim to establish a new way for Provo to give back to our residents and enable comfortable lives for both old and new families.

  • Growing up in Provo, I’ve seen the whole story. I’ve watched as friends and family alike set off to build their lives here. But with lacking systems to encourage home-ownership and current home-owners, it’s evident that we must support the growth of our neighbors, new and old.

I firmly believe that we can have the growth of a city occur without sacrificing the neighborhoods we’ve come to know and love.

  • I don’t listen to money, I listen to you.

Across the world, new systems of local economy that prioritize a higher quality of life are being established. With more jobs than ever, less tax-burdens on average residents, and city owned economic opportunities, these systems can be implemented right here in Provo. This will enable you to do the work you love while feeling safe and comfortable in your own city.

This will bring people to stand up against the outdated tirade against the fair treatment of the people who work to make this nation great.

I want people to care. About the world and about themselves. I do everything in my power to make that easier.

  • Progress is the pursuit of a higher quality era. By investing in new advancements in technology, urban models, and agriculture, we can create a stunning future across the city. I imagine lush streets, affordable groceries, and shocking economic opportunities.

All via the careful planning of our city’s budget and resources, making sure to keep your interests in mind. You deserve a city that elevates rather than stagnates.
